FAQ's

How to use DTF Transfers:

  1. Prepare the Fabric:

    • Pre-press the fabric to remove wrinkles and moisture. Use the heat press at 160°C (320°F) for 5-10 seconds.
    • Position the fabric on the heat press base, ensuring it is smooth and flat.
  2. Transfer the Design:

    • Place the DTF film with the design facing down onto the fabric.
    • Optional: Secure the film with heat-resistant tape to prevent shifting.
    • Cover the film with a Teflon sheet or parchment paper to protect the transfer.
  3. Heat Press the Design:

    • Close the heat press and apply medium pressure at 160°C (320°F) for 15 seconds.
    • Open the heat press and allow the fabric and film to cool down completely.
  4. Peel Off the Film:

    • Once cooled, carefully peel off the DTF film. The design should now be transferred to the fabric.
    • If the design does not transfer completely, repeat the pressing process for a few more seconds.
  5. Final Touch:

    • For added durability, you can re-press the transferred design with a Teflon sheet or parchment paper for an additional 5-10 seconds.
    • Allow the fabric to cool.

Tips for Best Results:

  • Ensure the heat press maintains consistent temperature and pressure.
  • Always test the transfer on a sample fabric to perfect your technique.
  • Store DTF transfers in a cool, dry place to maintain their quality.
